Jamal Adams freaks out after playoff berth: Not used to this – New York Post

Jamal Adams couldn’t contain himself after the Seahawks secured a playoff spot with a 20-15 win over Washington on Sunday.

Having never come close to a playoff berth in his first four seasons in the NFL with the Jets, Adams was stoked during his postgame media conference.

“Hell yeah! That’s a hell of a feeling man, I’m sorry, I’m not used to this, guys forgive me,” the two-time Pro Bowl safety said with an ear-to-ear smile. “I know you guys are used to Seattle always going to the playoffs. I’m not used to this.

“I’m used to sending my cars home by this time and hey, I’m already packing up, learning where I’m going next. Where’s the vacation? When am I seeing family?”

Adams, who essentially forced the Jets to trade him to Seattle in July, sacked Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins in the first quarter to bring his total to 9 ½ on the season – adding to his single-season record for a defensive back since the NFL began tracking the stat in 1982.
