The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers will open up their seasons with a fun little showdown at Staples Center tonight in LA.
LeBron James and the Lakers, of course, will be getting their championship rings after winning the title a few months ago down in the Orlando bubble. According to ESPN, the Lakers won’t be unveiling their championship banner, however, until fans are allowed back in the arena, which is pretty cool.
The Clippers, who failed to even make it to the Western Conference Finals last season, won’t be getting rings tonight but each player did apparently get a PS5 and some new headphones:
