Daniel Mengden has signed a contract with the KBO’s Kia Tigers. The RHP signed a one-year contract that will pay Mengden $425K, with a $300K signing bonus, and up to $275K in incentives.
The Rangers signed Kohei Arihara to a two-year deal, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic had the deal first.
The CPBL’s, Chinese Professional Baseball League, Fubon Guardians have signed right-hander Hector Noesi to a $500K contract for the 2021 season.
Raul Alcantara will join the Hanshin Tigers of the NPB for the 2021 season.
Dillon Overton has also secured a job overseas, but he will play for Taiwan’s Chinese Professional Baseball League on the Rakuten Monkeys.
