EA’s FIFA 21 has reclaimed the top spot in the UK charts for the week ending December 26th, dethroning the previous top dog, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. FIFA 21 sold 8% more physical copies compared to last week.

The embattled Cyberpunk 2077 slumped to eight place (it was third last week), and several evergreen Switch titles also saw their sales totals drop – but, unlike CD Projekt’s title, they rose up the charts instead of falling.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons shot from fifth place to third, despite its sales falling by 20% compared to last week. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also jumped up the chart to fourth, even though it sold 8% less than last week. Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2021 shed 28% of its sales yet rose one place to seventh, as did Super Mario 3D All-Stars (up to ninth, despite a 25% slump) and the Switch version of Minecraft (up to tenth from eleventh after losing 26% of its sales week-on-week).
