ESPN suspends NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski after F-bomb email to U.S. senator – NJ.com

The war of words began when Hawley (R-Mo.) trolled the NBA for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement as the league relaxes its guidelines on jerseys to give gamers an opportunity for social protest.

According to Hawleys twitter feed, Wojnarowski reacted to the senators message challenging the leagues jersey policy with a short email which solved to the point: “F ** k you.”

In making his point, Hawley referenced Houston Rockets basic supervisor Daryl Morey supporting anti-government protests in Hong Kong with an image that read, “Fight For Freedom. Stand With Hong Kong.”

Moreys tweet in October came as the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets went to China for exhibition video games. China is a big partner with the NBA, and started pulling its support for the league following Moreys tweet.

The Boston Globe reports ESPN has suspended NBA expert Adrian Wojnarowski following his NSFW e-mail sent Friday to Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.). According to the World, “the regards to the suspension are not yet understood.”

Upon reflection (and reaction), Wojnarowski later on tweeted an apology:
