Texans refusing to budge in ugly Deshaun Watson feud – New York Post

Teams keep calling – but so far, the Texans aren’t listening.

Despite Deshaun Watson wanting out of Houston and demanding a trade, the Texans still insist they have no interest in moving on from him, according to an ESPN report.

The report stated that teams have “gotten the message” and are privately hoping Houston changes their position, but according to sources, they plan on holding steady and have zero interest in letting Watson go.

Both the Texans’ new GM Nick Caserio and head coach David Culley have publicly stated they have zero desire to trade Watson. It appears the organization is holding firm on that position.

It could lead to an ugly standoff between the two sides, as sources close to Watson said he has no interest in ever playing a snap for the Texans again. He is under contract until 2025, but has not yet spoken to Caserio or Culley.

Watson is rumored to have the Jets at the top of his list of potential destinations. Other teams he is reported to be interest include the Dolphins and Broncos.
