A Florida man is facing a misdemeanor trespassing charge after running onto the field at Raymond James Stadium during Super Bowl 55 on Sunday.
Yuri Andrade, 31, was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 9:50 p.m. ET on Sunday and booked into jail early Monday morning, according to online jail records. Sheriff’s office spokesperson Crystal Clark confirmed in an email to USA TODAY Sports that he was the trespasser at the game.
Andrade, who resides in Boca Raton, Florida, also made little effort to hide his identity in a series of Instagram posts late Sunday.
“I am the (expletive) king now,” he wrote in the caption of one post, alongside a picture of himself evading security on the field.
Andrade described himself to authorities as “self employed” in the field of “international business.” He was released from jail shortly before 8 a.m. Monday after posting a cash bond of $500.
A text message sent to a listed phone number for Andrade on Monday morning was not immediately returned.
The man’s on-field stunt appeared to be an attempt to draw attention to an X-rated website, whose name was embroidered on the pink one-piece that he wore as he ran onto the field. He briefly halted play before being tackled by a security guard.
