As a part of the strategy, Tushy hopes to make a splash in college sports: “Assuming the deal is accepted, TUSHY wishes to work to bring a college football championship game to Orchard Park and host the very first Toilet Bowl,” the business stated in a news release widely shared on Twitter.
Buffalo Expenses fans have grumbled for several years that their stadium looks like crap– and now, it may get a toilet-themed name to match.
Its unclear, nevertheless, if Tushys deal will be taken seriously. MarketWatch reports that the stadiums previous sponsor paid the Bills about 3 times Tushys deal for the identifying rights.
The Bills arena is one of the oldest arenas still in usage in the NFL. Initially opened as Rich Stadium in 1973, the Bills first offered the identifying rights in 2016.
Luxury bidet company Tushy revealed a quote Wednesday for the identifying rights to the Bills stadium in Orchard Park, New York, after current sponsor New Era got pulled out of its own naming-rights handle the team.
Also included in the offer are numerous portable toilets equipped with Tushy bidets for the Bills car park and tailgating areas.
The businesss offer was supposedly worth $12.5 million, and would rename the venue “TUSHY Stadium.”
By early April, Tushy had several exceptional sales days, reportedly offering over $1 million worth of bidets in one day.
The bid follows an excellent year for the bidet maker, which is apparently flush with money during the coronavirus pandemic. As states began to lock down, Tushy saw a major boost in sales as consumers began hoarding bathroom tissue, according to service publication Crunchbase.
