Ravens take the “pure death” conditioning test virtually – NBC Sports – NFL

And its something that the team did this year by having gamers position their phones on tripod so the coaches could see them do it, and to time them. In an offseason without any chances to work straight with gamers, the conditioning test at least helps make sure that, when they reveal up for training school, theyll be in shape.

” It is pure death,” previous Ravens running back Justin Forsett told Hensley. “It is the hardest conditioning test I had throughout my time in the NFL,” added Forsett, who bet seven teams.

” My legs were gone by then,” previous Ravens cornerback Fabian Washington informed Hensley. “You cant choose them up. It seems like youre running in mud. It was absolutely a shock … Its literally the hardest crap ever.”

Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com discusses that the Ravens virtual offseason workouts included the teams infamously tough conditioning test.

Virtual exercises can still be literal hell.

The test consists of gamers running 900 backyards in 6 sets, with numerous switches. Each set includes 150 yards, with players going out and back 3 times. The time limitation ranges from 32 seconds to 27 seconds, with 64 seconds of rest between each set.

As Hensley discusses, things begin getting dicey in the 4th of six sets.
