Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Adds Final Fantasy VII Remake Aerith and Tifa – Siliconera

Square Enix held a special live stream announcing that both Tifa and Aerith are coming to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius very soon. The stream and upcoming event commemorate five and a half years of service for the mobile game. The Final Fantasy VII Remake event with Tifa and Aerith begins on March 31, 2021 at 5 p.m. (JST).

Players can receive Cetra Descendent Aerith as a login bonus in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The free unit is available as soon as the event begins, and distribution will cease at the end of the day on April 30, 2021 (JST). Cetra Descendent Aerith has a support role, but can shift to a Magic Attacker role with Red XIII joining her.

The other new character coming to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is Avalanche Tifa. This unit has an attack role in both forms. However, Tifa’s clothing changes to a Chinese-style dress when she shifts. Square Enix uploaded its live stream to YouTube, containing a debut trailer for both characters and some chat amongst the panel.

The panel also teased that Sephiroth will appear in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius sometime in mid-April 2021. In related news, Square Enix will also run a Final Fantasy VII Remake crossover event in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Players can obtain Tifa and Cloud during the upcoming promotion, with Tifa being free.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is available on Android and iOS devices. The new Tifa and Aerith units will be available starting March 31, 2021 in Japan.
