We have a draft date, a combine date and a lottery date. And with that, it means we can also update the 2021 NBA Draft Big Board. This will be version 2.0.
The NBA announced earlier this week that the NBA Draft will be held July 29, meaning teams now have a clock for their evaluation process. That’s about four months from today, meaning this is still going to be a slightly elongated, drawn-out process in comparison to the normal year. Teams will receive an extra month. The lottery will be June 22, with the combine taking place that week. We’re not through the early-entry process yet, meaning we still have time to determine who will be in the draft. However, this offseason has about as much uncertainty in regard to player movement as I can remember.
