Alexandrovskaya, 20, passed away in her native Russia on Friday, although the details of her death were not immediately known, the International Skating Union verified.

Previous world junior pairs figure skating champ Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya inexplicably passed away on Friday, marking the 2nd death to strike the Australian Olympic neighborhood this month.
