TEO: FOUR MORE COUNTIES HAVE MOVED TO THE LESS RESTRICTIVE ORANGE OR YELLOW TIERS. HOWEVER, SACRAMENTO, SAN JOAQUIN, STANISLAUS PLACER AND SOLANO COUNTIES REMAIN IN THE RED TIER. THESE COUNTIES HAVE CASE RATES THAT ARE ABOUT TWICE AS HIGH AS THE STATE AVERAGE. THERE ARE 13 COUNTIES STILL IN THE RED, AND MORE THAN HALF OF THEM ARE IN OUR AREA. DEIRDRE: AN INCREASE IN DEATHS OVER THE PAST YEAR, FUELED BY THE PANDEMIC, HAS SPED-UP A SACRAMENTO COUNTY CEMETERY’S PLANS FOR A NEW FUNERAL CENTER. CALVARY CEMETERY IN CITRUS HEIGHTS WILL BREAK GROUND ON THE CENTER THIS MORNING. IT’S THE SECOND-LARGEST CATHOLIC CEMETERY IN THE SACRAMENTO DIOCESES. Tickets for remainder of Sacramento Kings home games this season going on sale
Tickets for the rest of the Sacramento Kings’ home games for the 2020-2021 season go on sale Thursday.The next home games the Kings will play are against the San Antonio Spurs on May 7, the Oklahoma City Thunder on May 9 and 11, and the Utah Jazz on May 16. You can buy tickets on the team’s website.For people who want to attend a game in person, the Kings said they have measures set in place to ensure COVID-19 safety guidelines are met. Earlier this month, the Golden 1 Center’s guidelines were updated to allow vaccinated fans to attend Kings games.Below are the safety measures set in place in order to attend a game:Fans will need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, along with taking part in a verbal health screening with a Golden 1 Center representative. Guests ages 2 and older will be required to wear a mask and follow social distancing markers in the various points of the stadium, not including designated eating areas.Entry to the arena and payment for purchases will all be done electronically.Food and drinks will be individually packaged and can only be consumed in designated areas.Bags larger than 8″x6″x1″ are not allowed. Medical and infant bags are, however.Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the arena, and commonly used surfaces are cleaned and sanitized frequently.
