On Thursday, Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather had their first faceoff for a June 6 exhibition boxing match in Miami Gardens. Then Jake Paul stole Mayweather’s hat, and things got violent.
On stage after the faceoff, Mayweather took aim at Jake Paul, saying he could beat both Paul brothers in the same night. Just moments later, the younger Paul brother got in his face and tried to book his own fight.
When Jake Paul snatched Mayweather’s hat, that’s when the retired boxing champ and his entourage swarmed.
Check out the video below, which was taken from Mayweather’s Instagram live feed:
On Wednesday morning, Jake Paul again took aim at MMA fighters calling to face him in the octagon. But a few hours later, boxing was again on his mind as he stood offstage as his brother Logan, also a YouTube star, faced off with Mayweather and traded insults.
As the scrap between Jake Paul and Team Mayweather moved inside the arena, Logan Paul was restrained by unknown men as he called out with concern, “that’s my brother!”
Before tempers flared, Mayweather said he could beat up both brothers. He called the exhibition a “fight” for Logan Paul and “just having fun” for him. He called Logan and Jake Paul YouTubers and said he was a real fighter.
Minutes after the confrontation, Paul was back to his old self on Twitter.

Later, Paul posted a video clip setting up the prank and its aftermath.
“It went good,” he said, shirt stretched out after his tussle with Team Mayweather.
