Here are the lineups for this afternoon’s contest between the Braves and the Blue Jays.
Let’s start with Atlanta:
The most interesting change here is that Austin Riley is going to be starting today’s game from the dugout, as Ehire Adrianza will be batting fifth and playing third base. Also, Jeff Mathis will be catching for Charlie Morton today. While the entire lineup hasn’t exactly been lighting things up for the past couple of days, that 7-8-9 sequence is probably gonna be a rough one for the Braves today.
Meanwhile, here’s Toronto’s lineup:
Similarly to Atlanta’s lineup, the changes don’t start until you get down to the fifth spot. The two big changes are that Jonathan Davis will be getting the start in center field, while Reese McGuire will be returning to the role of catcher. Other than those two, Toronto’s lineup is filled with the usual suspects who have just proven to be too much for the Braves to handle throughout this entire season series.
