Tennessee assistant coach ejected from College World Series after incredible tirade – Saturday Down South

Tensions are running high in Omaha on Tuesday afternoon at the College World Series.

That’s because Tennessee and Texas are playing a do-or-die elimination game where the loser goes home. That makes every single pitch in the game important, and the Vols clearly aren’t happy with the umpire’s strike zone.

As you can see below, assistant coach Ross Kivett went on an impressive tirade, throwing a binder and screaming at the umpire after being ejected for arguing balls and strikes:

On the Tennessee website, Kivett is listed as a volunteer assistant coach/camp coordinator.

As things currently stand in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Vols trail the Longhorns 7-4. We’ll see if they have a comeback in them.
