Good afternoon Bucknuts subscribers! There is plenty going on with Ohio State football recruiting so let’s get started! I will of course have plenty more throughout the night and tomorrow.
1) Seven days of Ohio State 1-day June camps are in the books. The camps totalled 14 sessions overall as each camp had a morning Big Man session and an afternoon Skill Camp session. Many of the country’s top prospects were on the Ohio State campus during these camps. Now the Ohio State staff gets ready to welcome in a very, very talented group of recruits on official visits for the final weekend before another dead period starts. The next dead period goes from June 28 to July 24.
Two Ohio State commitments are scheduled to make their official visits to Ohio State this weekend, cornerbacks Jaheim Singletary and Ryan Turner.
Bucknuts has also confirmed a number of top uncommitted prospects that will make their official visits to Ohio State this weekend. Those are defensive end Kenyatta Jackson, defensive linemen Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, defensive lineman Chris McClellan, offensive lineman Kam Dewberry and defensive end Enai White. Also expected to make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend is safety Markeith Williams.
As I have previously mentioned, as expected running back Omarion Hampton’s official visit was cancelled after running back Dallan Hayden committed to the Buckeyes.
