The greatest physical difference between the original versions and these brand-new models are their colors: The Z Flip 5G comes in Mystic Gray and the same Mystic Bronze weve seen in all those Galaxy Note 20 leakages. And these new Z Flips pack upgraded software application features, like a new Multi-window panel that makes it simpler to launch two apps on top of each other, and the ability to run YouTube in Flex Mode. (Presumably, these tweaks will land on the older Z Flip via software application upgrade quickly enough.).
As normal, a bunch of pre-launch leakages indicates the Z Flip 5Gs existence wasnt much of a trick. Whats more surprising is Samsungs timing: It appears unusual for the business to be speaking about its foldable plans right now, with Unpacked set to unfold in a web browser near you in simply a couple of weeks. On the other hand, however, todays announcement may have simply made Samsungs Unpacked agenda more obvious.
The current list of leaks either verifies or highly recommends that some Galaxy Notes, a Galaxy Watch, some bean-shaped earbuds and a brand-new Galaxy Tab to take on the iPad Pro will be among the devices Samsung exposes on August 5th– now that the Z Flip 5G is official, it may be that Samsungs last huge Unpacked reveal will be the next-generation Galaxy Fold. There may not be a “last big reveal” if one of those 5 slots is technically occupied by something like a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra rather, but were hopeful that Samsung isnt done talking about brand-new foldables simply.
