Week 4 of the college football season brings another jam-packed Saturday of action, beginning with the early window that featured a neutral-site showdown between No. 12 Notre Dame and No. 18 Wisconsin. Among the other early highlights his week was a pair of SEC divisional games between No. 2 Georgia and Vanderbilt, and LSU and Mississippi State. Plus, an in-state showdown between Texas and Texas Tech had the scoreboard lighting up.
In total, 22 ranked teams will be in action as the season rolls on with conference play heating up across the country. Among the key league matchups in the afternoon was No. 16 Arkansas and its statement win over No. 7 Texas A&M. No. 9 Clemson’s trip to NC State, No. 19 Michigan’s game against Rutgers, and No. 14 Iowa State’s trip to Baylor were also all key matchups. There will be plenty of excitement later in the day, too, as No. 4 Oklahoma gets its first taste of Big 12 action against West Virginia and Oregon begins Pac-12 play against Arizona in late-night action.
