San Francisco Giants team president Farhan Zaidi slammed an Arizona city councilman who buffooned George Floyd at an anti-mask rally.

While Phillips issued an apology, Zaidi said he didnt buy it.
” I mean, f– k that man,” he informed the outlet. “You can quote me on that. F– k that man.”
” I believe anyone would have problem getting beyond the abhorrent insensitivity of his statement,” Zaidi informed The Athletic. F– k that person.
Zaidi included that there could be some consequences over Phillips comment.
” I do not know how you could enjoy that and not be angry about it,” he stated. “And mad may be too easy a term. As for what option we have, I wouldnt wish to speak to that. Im f– king pissed about it. And I understand I speak for a great deal of individuals when I state that.”
” I think anyone would have difficulty getting beyond the abhorrent insensitivity of his statement,” Zaidi told The Athletic. “But even if you can get beyond that– the reality that this guy is condoning habits that put our staff and gamers at threat? Like, seriously. F– k that person. I cant believe that guy is a public authorities in this country. Its amazing.”
Zaidi, whose team has a spring training center in Scottsdale, did not mince words when speaking about Phillips in an interview with The Athletic.
