LAS VEGAS– MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Fridays main and early UFC on ESPN 12 fighter weigh-ins, where all 20 fighters on the card struck their marks on the scale.
In the co-feature, Mickey Gall (6-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) satisfies polarizing welterweight Mike Perry (13-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC). Gall came in at 170 pounds on the nose. Perry was 171– though he attempted to weigh in without a face mask and when he was informed he needed to wear it, he stated he wasnt wearing one to weigh in on the test scale. However with it on, he was on the mark, regardless.
In the main occasion, previous interim light-weight champ Dustin Poirier (25-6 MMA, 17-5 UFC) takes on Dan Hooker (20-8 MMA, 10-4 UFC). Poirier was the first fighter on the scale in the two-hour weigh-ins window and was 156 pounds. Hooker weighed in less than 10 minutes later on and was 155.5.
The early weigh-ins happened at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The very same place hosts Saturdays card, which airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+.
