The NWSL is the first professional group sport in the United States to return amid the coronavirus break out. The monthlong Challenge Cup opened Saturday with a set of video games at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah.
Megan Rapinoe, who bets OL Reign but pulled out of the Challenge Cup, was slammed when she knelt at a NWSL game and a pair of nationwide group video games in 2016. She stated she wished to reveal uniformity with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who took a knee throughout the anthem to bring attention to racial inequality.
