Butler informed ESPN that Allen broke 2 bones in his orbital flooring and one in his nose. Allen ended up winning the bout by unanimous decision.
Butler tweeted that Allen is likely out for the remainder of the year due to the injuries, although he might think about a return one weight class up at light heavyweight.
Allen (15-3) has won 7 straight battles, including his first 3 in the UFC. The Louisiana native, who trains at Roufusport in Milwaukee, had completed three straight fights entering Saturday night. Allen, 24, is the former LFA middleweight champ and signed with the UFC in 2019.
