Amazon-owned game studio Relentless is putting its free-to-play shooter Crucible back into a closed beta state after confessing introduced the game before it was prepared. In a blog post published Tuesday, franchise lead Colin Johanson says the focus is now on “providing the very best possible experience for our gamers as we continue to make the video game much better,” therefore the game will be reverting back to a pre-release state to provide the studio the area to make changes and prepare a more robust launch.
The move is a rather sensational admission of failure surrounding Crucibles launch back in late May.
