Oklahoma had a couple of additional fireworks Saturday when ESPN 300 quarterback Caleb Williams devoted to the Sooners.
Williams is the No. 15 possibility total and chose Oklahoma over LSU and Maryland. Hes a 6-foot-2, 210-pound possibility out of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., and had almost every significant program after him throughout his recruitment.
As the top-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class, Williams– who made the statement in an interview with CBS Sports– was the highest-ranked uncommitted possibility at this moment in the 2021 cycle. In general, Williams is ranked only one area behind quarterback Sam Huard, who is devoted to Washington.

Rattler was the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in his class and the No. 29 hire general. The staff likewise signed ESPN 300 quarterback Chandler Morris, the seventh-ranked dual-threat quarterback in 2020, and is now set to include Williams to that list.
Riley has already proved he can mold quarterbacks, so bringing 2 top-ranked dual-threat quarterbacks aboard does not bode well for opposing defenses.
Prior to the commitment, the Sooners had the No. 24 class general. With Williams on board, Oklahoma now has 5 ESPN 300 commitments and 10 dedications in total.
Oklahoma on Saturday likewise landed four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin from Austin, Texas. McCutchin, the No. 16-ranked hire at his position and 227th overall, verbally committed to the Sooners over offers from Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas.
