Microsoft is preparing to introduce its xCloud game streaming service later on this year as part of Xbox Video game Pass, and device makers are preparing yourself. 8BitDo, a company that specializes in retro and modern alternative gamepads, has adapted its retro NES controller for Microsofts Project xCloud service.
The small Bluetooth controller is designed to be compatible with all Android mobile phones and tablets, and its officially licensed as a suitable xCloud and Xbox controller. The integrated battery should last for around 18 hours, and theres a USB-C port for charging. The controller even ships with a clip to connect to phones, with adjustable positioning.
8BitDo has dealt with Microsoft to accredit this Xbox controller and ensure its completely practical with xCloud. Theres even different software application that will allow you to personalize button mapping and change stick and trigger level of sensitivity. The controller supports profiles that you can change in between for customized button loadouts.
The $44.99 SN30 Pro for Xbox controller will be offered on Amazon for preorder today, with gadgets delivering on September 21st. 8BitDos September launch date is unrelated to Microsofts own launch prepare for xCloud as part of Xbox Game Pass later on this year.
