Wojnarowski responded with an e-mail by stating “F– k you,” after Hawleys workplace sent a press release detailing a letter he prepared to send out NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, criticizing the leagues decision to limit messages players can endure their uniforms to “pre-approved, social justice mottos” while “censoring assistance” for police and criticism of the Chinese Communist Party.

ESPN suspended NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski after a profane e-mail that was sent out to Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo. was dripped to social networks, according to numerous reports.
Both Outkick and the New York Post at first reported that Wojnarowski was suspended without pay.
After news of Wojnarowskis suspension broke on Saturday night, NBA players started tweeting out #FreeWoj on Twitter in support of the longtime basketball reporter.

Wojnarowski did not immediately react when requested remark however asked forgiveness shortly after on Twitter.
” I was rude and I made a regrettable mistake. I am sorry for the method I handled myself and I am connecting immediately to Senator Hawley to say sorry directly,” he composed. I also need to ask forgiveness to my ESPN colleagues due to the fact that I understand my actions were unacceptable and should not reflect on any of them.”
