When the Google Nest Twitter account teased “something unique” for this Monday, we all thought it was going to be the launch of a brand-new Nest gadget, perhaps that Nest-branded Google Home follower that we have actually all been becoming aware of. As it ends up, Google was merely foreshadowing a month-long salesapalooza (is that even a word?).
