The Nintendo Entertainment System Lego set will launch on August 1st– the exact same day as the Super Mario Lego sets– for $300. The Super Mario packages integrate different characters and obstacles for Mario to tackle, including a growth that lets him square off versus his arch-nemesis, Bowser.
Developed for adult contractors, this new set consists of 2,646 pieces that integrate to create Nintendos first home console in addition to an NES controller, a game cartridge that can fit into the console, and a mini retro television. The television shows Mario traversing through a stage from the 1985 classic, and a crank situated on the left side of the television lets you move the mustached plumbing up and down between platforms.

Lego and Nintendo are teaming up for a brand-new Lego set that puts together into a blocky model of Nintendos 8-bit video gaming console, the Nintendo Entertainment System, together with an interactive television displaying Super Mario Bros. The two companies collaborated previously this year to produce interactive Super Mario-themed sets.
