SEC postpones start of multiple fall sports through at least August 31 – WVTM13

The Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday the start of a number of fall sports is delayed for included safety in connection with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.All SEC beach ball, soccer and cross nation contests will be held off till at least August 31. Rescheduling of non-conference contests impacted by this decision will be identified be each private school.
The conference said this decision offers extra time to get ready for the safe return of competitors on an adjusted timeline.
