Notre Dame also expects to get a minimized allotment of tickets for away video games and they may not be available for purchase. If tickets for particular roadway games are available, instructions will be sent at that time.
Lottery eligibility for the 2021 season is under examination, the email said, and will be upgraded even more in mid-August.
The 2020 lottery procedure had previously been delayed until summertime.
Single-game tickets and parking passes for the 2020 Notre Dame football season will not be readily available through the popular lotto system, the school said Wednesday in an e-mail viewed by BlueandGold.com.
The relocation is part of the effort to decrease capacity in Notre Dame Stadium for house games.
” Over the previous couple of months, we have worked diligently on a seating strategy that would incorporate proper physical distancing measures to ensure Notre Dame Stadium is as safe as possible this fall,” the e-mail read. “We remain in the final phases of that planning process, which will considerably lower our capability.”
