The Washington Post reported minority owners Fred Smith, Dwight Schar and Robert Rothman are also looking to offer their shares in the team, an overall that combines for about a 40 percent stake.
Wilkinson will now have a function in the company after a long profession in Washington D.C. as a defense lawyer. She worked within the U.S. Justice Department and just recently participated in notable cases including Brett Kavanaugh and Michael Flynn.

The Washington football group has worked with attorney Beth Wilkinson to examine the groups protocols and “perform a deep dive into the companys previous culture,” according to ESPNs Adam Schefter.
It follows Director of Pro Personnel Alex Santos and Assistant Director of Pro Personnel Richard Mann II were both fired earlier this week, per Ben Standig and Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic. Both front workplace executives had been with the organization for over 10 years.
As Schefter noted, the Washington Post is preparing a story on the companys culture.
This comes in the middle of substantial changes for the franchise, including the recent announcement it will formally alter the groups name after more than 80 years.
