Following on from the discovery of a private Super Mario Twitter account previously today, there are now reports that another account – with a healing e-mail potentially connected to Nintendo – has been discovered.
Yep, this time its for Nintendos dormant F-Zero franchise which hasnt got a new entry in about 16 years.
As discussed by VGC, the secured Twitter deal with @FZeroJP was signed up in March 2020 this year – the very same time as the @SuperMario35th account and is connected to a similar-looking e-mail that falls in line with Nintendos nintendo.co.jp address.
This address also seemingly matches the emails connected to the main SplatoonJP and SmashBrosJP Twitter accounts.
Naturally, at this stage, its impossible to verify if the account was created by Nintendo – even if it was, it might just be the business booking deals with for its IP on social networks.
A comparable story recently did the rounds within the Xbox community when Perfect Dark and Fable Twitter accounts were discovered in March and June of this year, and an Xbox employee said it was “basic practice” to protect social manages for IP.
If Nintendo was to reveal a new F-Zero video game, it would be the very first one given that the Japan-only 2004 Game Boy Advance title, F-Zero Climax.
