Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Mostert spoke with an unnamed high-ranking member of the 49ers front office in an effort to “clarify” in the wake of his trade demand. Mosterts agent Brett Tessler told Rapoport that he hopes the conversation will lead the way for the scenario to be worked out.
Mostert is headed into the second year of the three-year deal he signed after playing a special teams function throughout his very first number of years with the Niners. Mostert took over as the lead back for much of last season and that change drove his push for a modified contract.

Running back Raheem Mostert was searching for a new agreement from the 49ers this offseason and he made a trade request previously this month when a new offer stopped working to emerge.
No trade has actually emerged either and that may be not likely to alter prior to the 49ers are arranged to report to training camp next week. That might be why Mostert has actually connected to the team recently.
