The Seattle Seahawks will report to training school on Tuesday, and when they do so it appears the team will report with just 80 players on the lineup. Due to the continuous coronavirus pandemic, the NFL has decreased roster sizes to 80, with team retaining the right to keep 90 players if they divided the team up during practices using different facilities. For the Seahawks, however, the choice that was made was apparently to cut 10 players and continue forward with those remaining.
Joey Hunt and Branden Jackson were two of the 4 limited free representatives for the Hawks this offseason, and while they both began and contributed during 2019, the group was prepared to carry on without them. Jackson was the only defensive lineman impacted by the relocations Sunday, as the team decided to carry on from Jackson with numerous more youthful gamers possibly all set to take over on the line. Some of the names that will seek to catch the snaps Jackson played in 2019 are Rasheem Green, L.J. Collier, Darrell Taylor and Alton Robinson.
