Now dealing with 15 years to life in prison, Dana Stubblefield, 49, was convicted of rape by force, oral copulation by force and unlawful imprisonment after a nine-month trial, Santa Clara County District Attorneys office announced on Monday.
District Attorney Jeff Rosen stated. “It has actually been a long road for this amazing female and we are glad to the jury for offering her some closure and, for our neighborhood, justice after a violent and unconscionable crime.”

After raping her, detectives said, Stubblefield provided her $80 and let her go. The female right away went to the Morgan Hill Police Department and reported the rape, prosecutors stated.
Stubblefield was prepared 26th total in the preliminary, and he played in the Pro Bowl in 1994 and in 1995. His last season was with the Oakland Raiders in 2003.

The lady, who was then 31, took a trip to Stubblefields house on April 9, 2015, to talk to for a task babysitting his children. Investigators say she left after 20 minutes, however she returned when Stubblefield texted her that he desired to spend for her time.
After raping her, investigators said, Stubblefield offered her $80 and let her go. The female instantly went to the Morgan Hill Police Department and reported the rape, district attorneys said. His lawyers had denied the female experienced any disability that prevented her from accepting consensual sex.
