Significantly, both accounts switched out their header images for a mystical block of text with words shut out and an obvious hole punch in the upper corner, relatively in line with the Pixels camera design. The Twitter accounts bio links out to a Google landing page with likewise blocked-out text, a paragraph of “lorem ipsum” placeholder text, and a rectangle-shaped placeholder where the image of a phone ought to be.

We think we understand a fair quantity about Googles next flagship cell phone– presumably the Pixel 4A– however we didnt have a firm sense of when the thing would really show up. That altered Thursday, thanks to a smart tease published to the Made by Google Facebook and Twitter feeds that points to an Aug. 3 launch.
