The ACC revealed a modified slate Wednesday afternoon, adopting a scheduling model of 10 conference video games and one non-conference video game.
With the new schedule comes the news of Notre Dame as a member of the ACC for this season. Notre Dame was already a contractual partner with the ACC, and with many of Notre Dames other games being cancelled with the Pac-12 and Big 10 relocating to conference-only schedules, the move made natural sense.
The ACC season will begin the week of Sept. 5 and end with the league championship on Dec. 12 or 19.
So lets take the time to examine which teams conference schedules became harder and which got simpler? To assess, Ill forecast a new conference winning percentage and compare it versus the existing conference projections I made back in March. Also note that wit either no or limited fans in the stands, I did not put much weight on home or roadway video games.
The league also announced that there are no divisions for this year. The top two groups in regards to ACC winning percentage will appear in the ACC Championship Game.
