No falls sports for CMSD schools due to COVID-19 issues

OHSAA detailed the following information for each classification of fall sports:
Ladies Tennis– 1 scrimmage allowed after practice starts and prior to first match; very first contest Aug. 7.
Main practices will begin on Saturday, Aug. 1, with the normal acclimatization period in location.
No school vs. school scrimmages are permitted.
School vs. school contests will follow per their regular OHSAA allowable dates and policies with a time frame of the week of Monday, Aug. 24 (Note: This date undergoes alter and subject to the approval from the Governors Office/Ohio Department of Health and with the stipulation that COVID‐19 testing will not be needed).
CCBH recommends schools in Cuyahoga County begin from another location, suspend extracurriculars.
If contact sports are authorized for school vs. school competitors, the OHSAA is prepared to set coronavirus-related requirements for schools to follow for competitions as asked for by the Governors Office. The OHSAA will also govern and provide consequences for the violation of these requirements.

Volleyball– 5 skirmishes and 1 sneak peek allowed after practice starts; first contest Aug. 21.
