Today, the popular email app Blue Mail was removed from the Google Play Store. A search on the shop for the app as of releasing this post returned no results aside from comparable apps.
Google told The Washington Post that it was checking out the issue but did not provide a direct talk about the removal of Blue Mail.

Blix, the apps developers, declares that the removal is a vindictive technique by Google because of Blixs cooperation in the continuous antitrust investigation.
If you are a Blue Mail user, you will not see any issues unless you factory reset your device or switch phones.

Blue Mail elimination: Retaliation?
Ben Volach, the creator of Blix and co-creator of Blue Mail, posted the following tweet a few hours back after he learned of the removal:
According to Volach, Blix only found out about the elimination when users who were switching phones began asking why they could not find the app on the Play Store. Volach states there was no notification from Google prior to the apps removal, and therefore no method for Blix to repair whatever concern caused Google to decide to remove it.

Later, Blix said Google informed it that the removal was due to Blue Mail copying another app. However, it is unclear if Google offered Blix enough details to fix the situation or not. Considering that the app is currently not available, were going to presume thats a no.

While Blue Mail is incredibly popular (and one of the email apps we advise), it has had its fair share of debates. Over on the Mac App Store, the app had actually been removed by Apple after Apple launched a product that Blix says was remarkably comparable to Blue Mail. Blix sued Apple over this event.
