Metta World Peace doesnt knock Jonathan Isaac for not kneeling for Black Lives Matter– in fact, he says he d probably do the exact same thing if he was still in the league.
MWP was at LAX Friday night when he dished his thoughts on the debate– specifically, that the Orlando Magic player was the only one so far to not kneel during the National Anthem. According to Metta, the guys entitled to his opinion.

It seems like he does support BLM– shoot, weve seen the man at demonstrations early and often– however it could be that he simply does not think in kneeling for anybody or any cause, period. Jonathan said he would not kneel since it went against his Christian beliefs.
Mettas view appears to echo what Charles Barkley said earlier this week– people not kneeling does not always make them bad people.
BTW, see to see what MWP needs to say about this years champion and whether there ought to be an asterisk around whoever wins. He says not, and informs us why.
He takes it even further however, informing our photog he probably would not get on flexed knee either if he was still playing. Metta tries discussing his reasoning, saying he doesnt wish to kneel for his opponent. Hard to say what he implies, but well let him describe.
He takes it even further however, telling our photog he most likely wouldnt get on bended knee either if he was still playing. Metta tries explaining his reasoning, stating he does not want to kneel for his enemy. Hard to state what he indicates, but well let him describe.
Metta World Peace participated in a protest today. Always keeping it genuine. (NSFW) pic.twitter.com/fo74StQ2pG— Legion Hoops (@LegionHoops) June 4, 2020
