Sales keep soaring

All the method back when Capcom announced Monster Hunter: World for the PlayStation 4, there was some scepticism focused on the Japanese publishers scaly executives for bringing the brand to console and PC as opposed to portables where the series had formerly shown popular. The success of the decision can no longer be understated, as the release has sold an eye-watering 16 million systems to date.
Perhaps most excellent of all is that expansion Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has itself offered 5.8 million systems to date, whichs up 600k in the publishers latest quarter alone. The Monster Hunter series as a whole now sits at 64 million units to date, and the franchises unavoidable PlayStation 5 follow-up will just bolster that figure even more.
