” First, I want to thank the 49ers company for their ongoing support,” Benjamin wrote in a post made to his Twitter account. “After much factor to consider and discussion with my family I have chosen to choose out of the 2020 NFL season as I feel this is the very best choice for my family. I will continue to support my colleagues and many pals around the league this season. As we continue to browse this pandemic I want that everyone stays safe.”

All NFL players have the alternative not to play this season because of the pandemic. Those who are thought about high-risk get $350,000, while those who are not high-risk get a $150,000 advance that they need to pay back next year. The deadline for players to pull out is on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.

San Francisco 49ers pass receiver Travis Benjamin revealed that he is pulling out of playing the 2020 season on Tuesday night.

Benjamin becomes the very first member of the 49ers to announce he will not be playing the upcoming season as part of COVID-19 choose outs. To date we have 55 gamers on our tracker as having taken the choice to sit out the season.

Benjamin signed an one-year handle the 49ers back in March. With his choice to choose out, that agreement will roll over to the 2021 season.
