Samsung made a big offer out of its collaboration with Microsoft, which consists of special improvements for the xCloud video game streaming service for the brand-new Galaxy Note20 phones, plus a 3-moth pass for those who pre-order them. XClouds beta test on iOS ended early, well before the September 15 launch of the service.
As believed, this was due to Apple App Store policies. Nvidias GeForce Now and Googles Stadia are not readily available on iPhone and iPad for the very same reason. Here a statement from Apple sent out to Business Insider:
” The App Store was developed to be a safe and trusted location for customers to discover and download apps, and a great organization opportunity for all developers. Prior to they go on our shop, all apps are examined against the same set of standards that are planned to safeguard consumers and offer a level and reasonable playing field to developers.”
Generally, Apple wants to have the ability to examine every video game that beautifies an iPhones screen, even if its streamed from a game server somewhere in the cloud.

The upside of a game streaming service is that you do not require a gaming or an xbox PC to play them. And you can play on the go. Well, not if you have an Apple device. Microsoft is working on a service, however its unclear what that would be aside from submitting each game to Apple for review before including it to xCloud.
Job xCloud will launch with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this September. For $15 a month, youll have access to a library of 100+ titles, including every game released by Microsoft (e.g. Halo and Forza) along with popular third-party titles like The Witcher 3 and GTA 5.
