Thomas was among the top employees in the country and a Freshman All-American in 2018, although he did not play too last year as a sophomore. This year, coach Dabo Swinney states, Thomas will be sidelined for the majority of the season.

Thomas could enter the 2021 NFL draft, although Swinney seemed to think he would go back to Clemson next season. For now, his health must be the main concern, and might act as a tip to other football players to take the coronavirus seriously.
