Apple countersues headphone maker Koss in AirPods patent dispute – Engadget

Apple stands out back at Koss, which filed a patent violation claim last month related to AirPods and Beats. It countersued the maker of the first stereo headphones, requesting for a court to rule that Apple didnt infringe any of the five patents as set out in the initial fit. Not only that, it competes Koss didnt deserve to sue over cordless headphone tech in the first place.
Koss met Apple multiple times under a privacy agreement, according to Patently Apple. While Apple was apparently delighted to have no restrictions on the discussions, Koss is stated to have demanded the arrangement. It prevents either side from prosecuting based upon anything they discovered in the talks. However Apple declares thats “precisely what Koss did.”
