Revealing the white Amonkhet Remastered cards coming to Magic: The Gathering Arena this week – Eurogamer.net

Theres a whole brand-new set of cards concerning Magic: The Event Arena and Ive been enabled a preview at them by Wizards of the Coast. I have not seen all of the cards, just those from the white plain.

Temper, mood.

Theyre from the Ancient Egypt-themed Amonkhet Remastered set coming solely to Arena this Thursday, 13th August. Its special since the Amonkhet set currently came out in the real-world 3 years ago, before Arena – which completely changed my mind about Magic – existed. The Remastered release consists of some cards from the Hour of Devastation set too, plus 2 extra special cards from long, long back.

One of those is Wrath of God, a four-cost sorcery which destroys all animals in play, yours and theirs. (Indestructible animals are apparently the only ones safe.) The other is Rest in Peace, a two-cost card which banishes all cards from all graveyards.

Here are the rest of the Amonkhet Remastered white cards.

Theres no word how much the Amonkhet Remastered set will cost to buy from the in-game Store yet, however you will be able to earn the cards through play, either in Draft, as rewards or by crafting them.
