Shroud was among numerous prominent banners who jumped ship from Twitch in fall 2019, generally to sign exclusive deals with Microsofts rival streaming platform, Mixer. He was among the most prominent names on the list, along with Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.
Facebook Gaming offered both Shroud and Ninja “practically double” the worth of their Mixer agreements, though they both declined early on, according to esports attorney Rod Breslau. He stated Shrouds Mixer agreement was worth $10 million, while Ninjas came in at $30 million.
Ninja still hasnt announced any concrete strategies, however he booted up his Twitch channel in early August and he streamed on YouTube in July. Ninja has 15 million followers on Twitch and 24 million customers on YouTube.
Shrouds homecoming stream will go reside on August 12th at 11am PT.
