Nintendo Is “A Jewel” In The Industry And Has The Best First-Party Pedigree, Says Xbox Boss – Nintendo Life

Hollywood screenwriter and one-time games journalist Gary Whitta has had some cool guests on his Animal Crossing-themed Twitch show Animal Talking, and the most recent episode featured one of video gamings most high-profile executives– Xboxs Phil Spencer.
Spencer has made obvious of his regard for Nintendo in the past, and, as you may think of, had plenty of good things to state about the Kyoto veteran throughout his time on the show.
He took time to applaud the truth that Nintendo considers the whole video gaming experience when it produces something:

… the pure thing about what Nintendo does, is they think about video games, and they believe about their hardware and their platform all as one thing, and develop those experiences– and I know the groups there quite well– and I believe its magical the way theyre able to develop a total Nintendo experience on their devices, and this experience Im taking a look at right here, in my hands, on my Switch, is Anoimal Crossing. From the Switch running it to the game itself to the method you go to other peoples islands …

Spencer also said that the industry needs to safeguard Nintendo due to the fact that the business is skillful at what it does:

In home entertainment service, you understand, the majority of things dont turn out to be big successes so there constantly needs to be some amount of surprise, however Nintendo is just skillful at what they do, and Ive stated it previously, I think they have the strongest very first party pedigree out there and strength, and theyre a jewel for us in the games market and something we must secure.

Spencer has stated lots of beautiful features of Nintendo in the past, but unfortunately it doesnt appear like his adoration for the company is going to get us Game Pass on Switch whenever soon. Boo.
