BlackBerry phones are back, baby – Engadget

OnwardMobility CEO Peter Franklin states the newest Blackberry will be both smooth and secure. The business plans to work closely with BlackBerry and FIH Mobile Limited, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group.
“BlackBerry is thrilled OnwardMobility will deliver a BlackBerry 5G smartphone gadget with physical keyboard leveraging our high requirements of trust and security synonymous with our brand name,” BlackBerry CEO John Chen said in a declaration.
It appears like licensing deals are the only way to get new BlackBerry devices. The last offer BlackBerry struck with a hardware maker remained in 2016 to launch phones in India. TCL was easily BlackBerrys finest shot, to date, at a comeback.
